New music ensemble Kurbis presents a programme centred around the music of John Habron. The concert will include Untellable Wisdom (Habron), Water is taught by Thirst (Habron), Nene (Habron), Amor de lonh (James Weeks), Sonata in A major (Handel), Helix (Howard Skempton), Balanescu (Laurence Crane arr. Habron) and Suite for Toy Piano (Cage). Kurbis comprises: Juliet Fraser (soprano), Sophie Appleton (violin), James Weeks (harpsichord and toy piano) and John Habron (vocals and percussion).
