A unique opportunity to gain an insight into the process of composition with Handel House's composer-in-residence John Habron. John will introduce the source of inspiration for his commission: an aria from Esther, the original of which is on display at Handel House. Live music will be provided by the museum's ensemble-in-residence The Burney Players with guest soprano Juliet Fraser. The recital will include the original aria, other excerpts from Esther and a sneak preview of the new piece itself.
