Displaying an impressive and fascinating range of instruments and performance practices, while still holding strongly to their own ensemble style, Hola! is one of those rare cases in which a number of superlatively talented performer-composers cooperate beyond the boundaries of personal authorship. The title of this performance refers to The Hola’s revision, recreation and combination of a wide variety of compositional and performance practices from many musical ages and cultures.
